Corporate Social Responsibility

Doing the right things, for the right reasons, with the right people, at the right time and in the right way with dignity, respect and consideration for others.

Our People

We are deeply committed to recruiting and developing our people irrespective of their nationality, colour, sex, sexual orientation, physical ability or religious beliefs. All are welcome and will be treated the same provided they share our fundamental beliefs in equality and an ethical approach to business.

Our Environment

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment through recycling and reducing our carbon footprint wherever possible.

Our Community

We have chosen three charities to support in the current year on a local, national and international level through a variety of activities.

These are:

Cheshire Without Abuse

Cheshire Without Abuse (CWA) formerly known as Crewe Women's Aid was founded by the late Lily Jones in 1977 to provide temporary accommodation, advice and practical help to women and children escaping domestic abuse.
They offer a wide range of advice, support and information for anyone who is currently or has previously experienced domestic abuse as an adult or child. Domestic abuse is physical, sexual, psychological, emotional or financial abuse that takes place within an intimate or family-type relationship and that forms a pattern of coercive and controlling behaviour. This can include forced marriage, so-called 'honour' crimes and female genital mutilation. Domestic abuse may include a range of behaviours, not all of which are in themselves inherently 'violent'

Macmillan

Macmillan’s objective is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same. There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people live longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan want to make sure they can provide support to everyone who needs it, to help people affected by cancer feel more in control of their lives. So far, we have raised over £15,000 for this charity by participating in five long distance overseas cycling challenges.

Unicef

We live in a dangerous world. Every day children face violence, disease and hunger. They are battered by the chaos of war and disaster and forced to flee their homes. They are denied an education. Since 1946 Unicef have saved millions of children’s lives by ensuring more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. They have also done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else.
